Privacy

Last updated October 20, 2026

CdotRips respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how it's protected, in line with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

Your card details are entered on Stripe's secure checkout page and never reach us.

How we use it

Only to process, ship and support your order: to send your order confirmation and shipping updates, answer your questions, handle returns, and keep the records required by law. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't send marketing emails.

Who we share it with

Only the services needed to run the shop, and only what they need:

Some of these services store information outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law. We may also disclose information when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

We don't use advertising or analytics trackers. Your cart, currency and shipping region are saved in your own browser (local storage) so they're there when you come back. You can clear them anytime in your browser settings.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for 6 years, as required by the Canada Revenue Agency. Emails are deleted when they're no longer needed.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing orders@cdotrips.com. We'll respond within 30 days. Some records must be kept for tax purposes. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Security

This site is served only over encrypted connections (HTTPS), payments are handled by Stripe, and access to order information is protected by a password and two-factor authentication.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version here with a new date.
